Ontario Knife Company
RAT SERIES
In 2002, the Ontario Knife Company entered into an exclusive collaboration with Randall's Adventure and Training Team (RAT). Randall's Adventure and Training (RAT) is a professional survival training, expedition guiding, and outdoor gear research team based in Alabama, with operations in Latin America. RAT is a legal U.S. representative of the Peruvian Air Force school of jungle survival.
The RAT team, formed by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin, is considered a leading authority in the research, testing, and design of remote adventure and survival gear. RAT and the Ontario Knife Company have partnered up to produce a series of knives for hard-core adventurers, civilians, and professional soldiers around the world. RAT knives have served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and many non-publicized conflicts around the globe.
Built to be versatile and durable, the RAT series features either high carbon or alloy carbon steel, tough micarta handles, and MOLLE compatible sheathes. The RATs make ideal fixed blade "every day carry (EDC)" or for use on the worksite, campground, or downrange.
